I’m seperting them into acute and chronic headaches.

Acute Headaches

Many acute headaches are from dehydration. If you’re outside doing a lot of manual work, sweating, or out in hot sun, sweating, you know a headache can develeop from not drinking enough water.

The best thing you can do is to take some water and lie down. Sip the water rather than drinking a lot at once. Sipping will hydrate you better. And use room temperature water. Cold water can cool you too quickly and bring on other problems.

Heat strokes can also bring on a headache, which we’ll go into later.

Another acute headache can be from breathing in poor quality air or fumes. Getting out into the fresh air, if you can, is the answer here. And rest, allowing your body time to recover.

If you do a lot of close work, that can bring on a headache. So writing, computer work, reading, cell/mobile phone use, sewing, watch makers, jewelers and so on. In these situations ir’s best to take regular breaks away from the work. Go to a window, if possible, and focus on distant objects as well as close objects. Shift the focus and roll your eyes around. It may be fuzzy initially but should improve.

I recommend hourly breaks at the very least.
