The Difference Between Acute and Chronic Conditions

It’s important to know the difference between acute and chronic conditions. Most people have no idea. It’s an important topic if you want to be in control of your health because you’ll want to know what you can do yourself, and what you need professional help with.

This information is relevent for both us and all other beings. We are not any different other that in looks and language.

Acute conditions are those that tend to last a limited time. They often come on quite fast - in hours or days. Mostly they will heal in time. Although death can result when they’re serious.

Some examples of acute conditions are headaches, fevers, minor to middling burns, minor to middling injuries of any sort, most abscesses, bites, puncture wounds, shock, food poisoning, sore eyes, hangovers, cramps, indigestion, colds, flu, sore throats, sprains, strains, pain from dentist/surgery/etc, anxiety.
